Interaction designer focused on advanced analytics, data visualization, and other complex problems

Ancient History

August 1, 2001

For historical reasons, I’m still hosting a number of things from previous editions of my site:

  • Ultimate Frisbee Slang — I wrote this years ago as part of a class assignment to add some original content to the web. For many years, this page was hosted in my Stanford account and received more hits than the rest of my web account combined.
  • Interactive Lighting Application — This Java applet was written for a computer graphics class taught by Ken Perlin. It demonstrates how a 3D rendered system might dynamically generate lighting effects to fit a current mood, allowing the system to improvise an appropriate lighting scheme.
  • Collaborative Meeting Spaces — This is a paper from a class and research project I was involved in at Stanford on Interactive Workspaces. This was the first assignment from the class, CS448a.
